Inquiry Media Productions produces radio and television programs espousing the humanist and skeptical viewpoints for broadcast and nonbroadcast applications. Recent productions include advocacy videos for the Center for Inquiry and the Robert Ingersoll Birthplace Museum, video documentation of scholarly conferences and lectures at the Center for Inquiry, and the public access program "The Humanist Perspective," presenting rational viewpoints on a wide variety of topics.
Located at the Center for Inquiry/Transnational in Amherst, New York, Inquiry Media operates a complete digital video production and post-production facility. All of the Center's main public rooms are equipped to serve as studio spaces, making possible live production in three independent studio spaces with as many as nine cameras. Nonlinear digital video postproduction is also available.
The current Executive Director of Inquiry Media Productions is Thomas Flynn.
The Humanist Perspective TV Show
The Humanist Perspective, a one-half hour public affairs TV program, has been produced and distributed nationwide since 1998. More than 260 unique episodes have been produced. It is aired on cable access channels with the cooperation of local volunteers in each cable's marketing area. If the program is not available in your area, consider becoming a volunteer sponsor. You need not be a cable customer in order to act as a sponsor. The program can be seen in the following areas.
